Base Unit Installation
Unpack the Base unit. Connect the supplied telephone line cord to either of the two sockets at the bottom of the Base unit and connect the other end of the cord to the telephone line wall jack. If you previously had a phone connected to the telephone line wall jack, connect the phone (using its cord) to the other socket in the Base unit. Plug the Base unit into an 110VAC power outlet. The light on the front of the Base unit should glow green. The Base unit is now ready. |

Extension Unit Installation
Unpack the Extension unit. Plug the telephone or other appliance requiring
telephone line service into the Extension unit. Plug the Extension unit into a
power outlet. After a short period of time, the light on top of the Extension
unit will glow yellow when the DUAL MODE switch is in the “S” position
(speech) or green when the switch is in the “C” position (computer/data. The
Base and the Extension units are now installed and ready for use. |

You can have up to four Extension units registered to one Base unit.
